Spoke & Sprocket Cycling Club:

Time to ride!

Our recreational club rides every Saturday morning. Meet at the shop at 7:45 and leave at 8:00. We usually ride for 3-6 hours depending on weather and schedule of the group. There is alos often a small group that cuts the ride shorter, usually about 3 hours or so. Pace is a fast recreational pace. We typically average about 18mph for the ride and regroup at the tops of the hills and major intersection. Come join us!

May 16 2007: Our Wednsday evening rides have started up again. During the summer we will be coing rides every Wed night leaving from the shop at 6pm. Join us for 2 hours of great riding!

Sunny days are here again!
The club features fun, fast, recreational riding year round. The club participates in many of the local centuries and organized rides including the Daffodil, Penninsula, and Green River Headwaters Centuries. Many riders also ride STP and RAMROD.

Events

Saturday morning rides: The core of our club is the Saturday morning ride. Our Saturday morning ride group currently leaves at 8am, rain or shine. One group rides for two to three hours and the second group rides between three and six hours depending on the time of year and weather. Please feel free to join us.

Wednsday evening rides: Join us for a 2 hour ride during the week. Ride leaves from the shop at 6pm on Wed nights in the summer.

RAMROD training rides: Each year club members lead a series of training rides to help riders prepare for RAMROD (Ride Around Mount Ranier in One Day). These rides are held in the mountains, and are the perfect preparation for the event itself. They are also fun rides for those who are not planning on doing RAMROD but want to sepnd some time doing challenging rides in incredibly scenic areas.
